problem fetching data with 1.5b6

OS 10.3.6+latest updates+ zmacsync.ipk (v. 1.5b6)

i can ssh into Z as root, samba only as guest. ok
(sharp rom 3.13 clean flashed)

ZMacSync seems to recognize Z but cannot fetch data.
"Data from Zaurus-1 not available."

didnt wrote a crashlog neither.

I dont get it.

Can you please open Console and have a look at the Console.log? If there is something strange, please mail the relevant parts to zmacsync@dsitri.de

as posted in another thread i've made a dtm2xml database reset (all data lost in Z), do a sync in windoze again to obtain data, then it worked .. :)

on the mac: why only the adressbook is being updated ?

maybe this is an old prob:
after a bit of testing, its seems that calender date entries are doubled on Z.
Also birthdays are one day earlier after syncing :o

again i had to issue dtm2xml reset database before i could fetch data after a clean flash.

The reason is that Apple provides a standard interface to the Addressbook so writing software to modify the addresses is not too complex and is well tested. But there is no similar support for writing to the Calendar files. So we have to do that on our own.

And this is not trivial - and runs into the risk that it might unexpectedly destroy all your calendar data. So we have decided to leave that out for the first public releases and add it later when it becomes mature and reliable enough.
