I've tried to install the latest version of myPDA, mySTEP and myApps but the first 2 packages refused to install on either RAM or SD card. I managed to install myApps but I suppose it will not work without mySTEP. Is there a prefered order in stalling the packages?

Yes,
the packages need a lot of free filesystem space in /tmp to unpack. So we recommend to install in this order:
1. myPDA
2. mySTEP
3. myApps

But as I take from your Subject, you are trying on a SLA-300. I don't have the spec of this devices but it might have not enough free memory to work at all.
