Hello all, firstly : thank you for your reading and happy new year 11111010101 :D

I have just offered me a good bunble for my new year (in Andorra):
- A Zaurus SL-5500
- a 512Mb SDcard
- an SanDisk 128 + Wifi Compact Flash

The first bad news was that the system was in Spanish (i'm French)
Now it's ok, I haved installed OpenZaurus 3.5.2 and it's great.
But now, after reading this forum, I thought the SanDisk Wifi was going with a little confy and not with a total kernel patching (am I wrong on this point?). So I modified /etc/pcmcia/config.opts and /etc/pcmcia/hostmap_cs.conf as described on this forum.
Now the card is reconised by OZ in the "systray" but no blinking on the card, I tried via network manager and terminal command such as ifconfig iwconfig and iwlist, it seems to work, but every value get 0 (biteratre, signal, essid...)
also I suspect I'm missing something but I can't figure what...
Please help me to make it work,
Thank you in advance for your help and your time.

The probem is that you need the hostap driver (kernel module) in version 0.3.2 (development release) and higher to run the sandisk connect plus right now. -> http://www.dsitri.de/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=97

There isn't a OS release (Openzaurus, etc..) which includes this at this thime and I've found no seperated binary (hostap 0.3.2 module for ARM) as well.
You could compile it for yourself though, if you know how to do it (i myself have tried, but I am not skilled enough to eliminate the problems that occur).

So the worst thing that could happen is that we have to wait until march when the next Openzaurus will be released (according to the latest newsletter: http://openzaurus.org)
